I met her at Coachella....

THIS WEEKEND I WILL BE AT COACHELLA. It's my 5th year, and it's my version of Christmas. It's the best place to relax and unwind, and just have an amazing experience. All my friends go, there's always great music to listen to and discover, delicious food to eat, beautiful people and smiling faces. It's also a fashion show. Over the years, I've noticed, that not only do I have a specific uniform for the festivities, but there is definitely somewhat of a dress code. It's very indie, high waisted shorts are a must, the less clothes the better, and anything lace or embroidered is perfect. Of course, you can pair it with a flower headband and a little pair of ankle boots, and you're good to go. This year, I have wayyyyy too many outfits for the three days. But, I'm better safe than sorry. Here's a little insight into my planning process! Hope you enjoy and if you have any suggestions, I'm interested to hear! Check out dem apples...

Back in Black

Well, I've moved, and my closet is better than I expected, though it's filled to the gills! My room is coming together nicely and our apartment it just adorable. I cannot wait until we are more settled and we are cooking in our kitchen and just having an overall wonderful time at home.
I thought I'd come back and share this amazing little video on fashion necessity- The Chanel Jacket. It's epic and classic, and just the perfect touch of femininity and it's incredibly versatile. Anything, and everything Chanel will always be worth your time in my book. There will never be a brand like Chanel again, and it will forever remain a staple fashion house as it personifies everything that fashion embodies. Check it out...

Busy Bees

Sadly, I won't be posting as much over the upcoming weeks as I will be moving- followed by Coachella. This month is utterly exciting (minus the fact that I will have to find time for my finals and papers, as I am beginning to wrap up this school year). But that just means, more time to blog, and the post will be more personal as I will have much more time to photograph and research.
In honor of Coachella and this wonderful spring weather we're embracing, I wanted share this epic top from Stone_Cold_Fox- an awesomely indie clothing line that I'm sure you want to know about. Based out of California, designers Cydney and Dallas, make everything to order- that means once your order it, it goes into production. They put their touch on everything, making it a very personal brand. They've even transcended into home and bridal design as well. Everything from them is like a treasure. With 60 influence, vintage elegance and timeless style, Stone_Cold_Fox's Holy Tube top belongs in my arms. I can't wait to get my hands on it... Take a look.

A Current Affair

Last weekend, my friend Beka and I attended a vintage pop-up convention called A Current Affair in Downtown LA. It was wonderful. There were multiple booths decked out in vintage clothes, bags and jewels. There were so many prized possessions that everything was a little bit out of my price range, but honestly, it didn't take away from the experience. To be surrounded by such beautiful and timeless fashion, was almost overwhelming. If anything, it just solidified my love for vintage, it's numerous possibilities and it's fashion's ability to remain timeless. It was definitely candy store for the fashion obsessed. My favorites were the accessories, I would have totally walked out of their with a bag full of vintage sunnies, a handful of incredible necklaces, and my arms draped in millions of beautiful bags. I was able to purchase a cute lace number that I will probably dawn at Coachella, so yay for that! It would be an amazing accomplishment if one day I could have my own vintage archive, and this gave me a little glimpse of the possibilities.
