Go, Gucci, Go

Gucci will always have that iconic 1960s style that will forever be timeless. From it's simplicity, to its surrealist nature, we can understand the reason why Gucci will forever be a favorite and a fashion staple. For its Resort 2014 collection, Gucci managed to take its iconic style and morph it into this dreamy nature. Just like my previous post, this Resort collection uses neutrals to manifest a super effortless look. Looks are amped up, however, with pastels and shimmery fabrics. It's perfect, a fun wardrobe to play in.

Wandering

My main objective in life is to travel. There is nothing more magical than the universe we live in- the people, their differences, their food, their culture, their textiles, their colors... Everything about the world is beyond intriguing to me. I want to love it all, experience everything. I don't think their is anything more rewarding or fulfilling than seeing the world. There is nothing I day dream about more. I  even have dictated specificities in my wardrobe for each location I plan to attend. The excitement and ecstasy I get from witnessing and being around beautiful and new things is an extraordinary feeling that I might as well be addicted to.  It is nothing but the future. 

This editorial inspires me. I love the ideas of neutrals in the desert. Keeping it cool and calm, while extra chic and simple. Definitely something the stylish wanderer should remember.

Overlooked

Fashion Week in Sydney seemed to be pretty much forgotten about. As it isn't at the top of the fashion destination list, most people aren't exposed to what's beyond the top labels in cities like Paris and New York. But for people like us, who are fashion obsessed, seeing alternative and gathering inspiration from all over the globe is critical. Though I'm a little late with the sharing, I wanted to share some of my favorite collections from Australia. This one is especially unique and the perfect musings for our upcoming summer. Camilla is vibrant, playful and luxurious. It's over the top and magical. By mixing prints and textures, the line creates an unbelievable feast for the eye. When I run away and escape to lands of beaches and tropics and an overall almost miraculous setting, Camilla is what I will be wearing. Now if only I could abandon my finals, dawn these garbs, and just relax already...

I met her at Coachella....

THIS WEEKEND I WILL BE AT COACHELLA. It's my 5th year, and it's my version of Christmas. It's the best place to relax and unwind, and just have an amazing experience. All my friends go, there's always great music to listen to and discover, delicious food to eat, beautiful people and smiling faces. It's also a fashion show. Over the years, I've noticed, that not only do I have a specific uniform for the festivities, but there is definitely somewhat of a dress code. It's very indie, high waisted shorts are a must, the less clothes the better, and anything lace or embroidered is perfect. Of course, you can pair it with a flower headband and a little pair of ankle boots, and you're good to go. This year, I have wayyyyy too many outfits for the three days. But, I'm better safe than sorry. Here's a little insight into my planning process! Hope you enjoy and if you have any suggestions, I'm interested to hear! Check out dem apples...

Street Wear

To me, some of the truest fashion moments happen on the streets verses the runway. They are all so unique, so individual, sometimes they seem the most inspired. Sadly,  however, I am not at the place in my life where I am able to witness and participate in these moments. So for now, I, regretfully have to steal from the great Tommy Ton and Vogue online. Sorry guys, but here are my favorites!
